Sorry Ilkeston Ram, that's not correct. Tottenham were number 3. The premier league and championship teams were in alphabetical order for the third round - that accounted for numbers 1-44, and numbers 45-64 were the alphabetical arrangement of the other 20 teams in the draw.

When the third round draw was made, Derby were the 29th team out of the bag, making us the home team for match 15.

The numbers for the fourth round draw were allocated before the third round matches took place. 'Tottenham or Coventry' was number 3 etc.

What I forgot to add was, 'Derby or Tranmere' was therefore allocated number 15 for the fourth round draw, irrespective of who won.
