In order to beat a none league side in FA Cup
Would it please you ??
Certainly wouldn't if that was Utd.
"This is about Liverpool not Utd, we don't need to cheat against None league sides"
Imagine having to cheat

ahhh so it boils down to playground barbs. The "cheating" article has been deconstructed to a "luck due to officials" without any intent to cheat anywhere.
Mancs call it a day on this one.
You'll have a chance to resurrect ill feeling towards Liverpool next week! Hopefully with a few Suarez goals to set you all off!

The article was about cheating, not failing to beat non league opposition. The article op actually says "this is about Liverpool, not united" therefore you were off topic and I wasn't.

The article is a fail article as it implies cheating when there wasn't any.

But it also says "we don't need to cheat against non-league sides", which is what I was picking up on. Hence my suggestion that cheating may have got you past these teams on these occasions.

Which lead me to the comment about history. Natural progression of debates is a wonderful thing, no?

It certainly is the end of this article

Which in turn led me on to my ridiculing of this as a rather weak comeback. You are correct, it is a wonderful thing. We could end up reliving the entire debate over and over again in an endless loop here if we're not careful.
