I read and respect most of your opinions on him and some of you do have some valid points, I ain't gonna sit here and lie because he can look shocking at times. The fact is tho he's our top scorer and creator so why isn't that enough for some of you? if you look past the fact that he's never going to be a world beater like the media had originally portrayed him, which wasn't his fault obviously. So I suggest some peeps stop waiting for him to become that player.
I am not saying that he wont show moments of brilliance because he will but then he can also trip over the ball!. One thing hel always do tho is create something for us or put the ball in the net more than any of our other players at the moment. Also, can peeps stop this nonsense about him demanding and holding the club to ransom. There is absolutely no evidence of this whatsoever bar a couple of journos making up stories to sell.

It's about
But why does it have to be theo that steps up, what Podolski and Giroud. When there anonymous not a word said, when Theo is anonymous your all on here giving him stick. It's a team game, if someone's not doing it then someone else has to step on. Are we gna rely on him to score hatrick a every week. If anything he should be excempt from being slated because he's our top producer.

I think Podolski has had aome poor games but he wants to play centre forward, that is his best position, however even when Giroud and Podolski are not generating anything they don't lose the ball or mis-pass with the monotonous regularity of Walcott - when Walcott's confidence is down (which is most games) he isn't just generating nothing, he's an absolute liability on the ball.

At times he is but the key things he does with the ball leads to a goal. He's never gna keep the ball like Cazorla and Wilshere, his job is to get on the end of through balls that they create. There are far more worse players than Theo.

I totally agree with that, a flat track bully is very useful, he gives you options, but not as our starting centre forward against teams who know how to defend and compete.

Yeh I agree, he's obviously more effective against teams that play a high line. I've always said that he can only play off a target man. I think peeps should properly judge him in his prime yrs if he signs of course. I believe hel bang the goals in, if he doesn't il hold my hands up and at least wel get some proper funds for him.

powerkinghenry,
as I've always said, I hope I'm wrong and Walcott suddenly comes good, I'd rather eat humble pie and Arsenal do well, it's about our team at the end of the day

Well bar the last two games he's been pretty good. You make some good points mate, tbh he does do some daft things. Lets hope he keeps producing for us anyway.

Well I love Theo and desperate for him to stay. I have always rated him highly. There are things he needs to improve on and I'm sure he will.

his probably just about good enough to lace Thierry Daniel Henry boots.
in all honesty he's not a greatly talented footballer but what he does have is lightning pace. if the ball is moving around fast and the opposition defense have their back to the wall and you release the ball to him at pace he will beat his defender and probably score or make a good assist if required. anything other than this and he is quite average indeed. you can see that every-time it's a one on one and his involved, he can not beat a player and looks lost.
is he worth the money?, probably not but in this current Arsenal team probably yes because it reflects the poorness of true quality of this current team!
