Bale's a great talent (I'm not too bitter to admit it) but would he fit in a world 11? I doubt it, as there are better players in his position.

He'd walk into a premiership 11 though, which unfortunately shows the quality of our league.

He is a quality player.

But I think we as PL fans are quite arrogant, and the media also. Go watch Di Maria for Real and (although he isn't having a great season so far) he is far superior to any winger in this country.

Anyone that says he is, or even can be, in the same class as Messi or Ronaldo are deluded

I'm not trying to have a go at Bale's talent, it's too tedious.

It's just the suggestion that he consistently put in 'world class' performances.

yeh you're right, to say he is consitently world class is wrong. He does spend alot of time carrying Spurs, and shines in their squad but thats because he is head and shoulders above the rest of the players
