Blackburn Rovers Football Club have issued an apology for former manager Steve Kean's comments about another former Rovers boss in Sam Allardyce during a pre season tour in Hong Kong in 2011.
The comments were in relation to the alleged managerial methods of Allardyce, who was sacked as Blackburn manager the previous December.
Kean - formerly Allardyce's first-team coach - stepped up to replace him but resigned last September after an unsuccessful 21-month tenure which saw the club relegated to the Championship.
Allardyce, now in charge at West Ham, reportedly accepted a substantial out-of-court damages payment over the affair last week.

Just need to get them to apologise for the rest of theirs and Kean's decisions and we'll almost be making progress.
Venky's apologise

I don't think Kean does need apologise that's up to his employers ,employers are liable not employees

What Kean said was not done in the course of his employment - his comments were made in a bar and had nothing to do with his duties as a manager.
If Kean had any decency (judging by what Blackburn fans are saying, he doesn't) he would have come out and apologised rather than leaving his employers to pick up the pieces.

Well if that's the case skinovers he should have been done for bringing the club into disrepute.

Yeah makes me feel sick and it makes we think what he knows to get a payout of 1.2 million

1.2 million dodgy dealings, that what he knows.

I reckon part of the settlement as agreeing to sell him Martin Olsson on the cheap. What he doesn't realise though is that Sinister Shebby is planning on sending Marcus Olsson in his place.
