M'vila

Sorry if this has been done before but what's the big obsession with this guy? It seems to be the most common theme on Arsenal rumour sites.

I don't get it, saw him play against Celtic and he was completely anonymous and didn't look up to standard, in my opinion it wouldn't be a great signing.

Has anyone else seen anything in him to make you think otherwise?

Chris, am i right in thinking his value since last summer has shot down?

Absolutely, apparently Wenger had a 26 mil bid rejected last summer (2011), now they'd be lucky to get half that!

18 months ago he was up there with the most highly rated young midfielders in Europe. After a series of personal problems and off the field antics his stock has plummeted, hence why Rennes (his club) are trying to offload him for 8/10 million. When you think at the start of last season Arsenal had a 24 million bid rejected on deadline day in August, it tells its own story.

Technically good, strong and athletic with a good understanding of the game, if he doesn't end up eventually end up playing at the highest level I will be surprised.

Decent player but not the answer

Lets be honest he would improve our midfield easily.

Hes faster, stronger, better defensively and in the air than Arteta and would probably keep the ball just as well.

On that note as well it might be biased but I think Wanyama would be a better option the boy is fantastic

M'Vila has his problem and critics, but the lad has everything in place to become a quality player. And as many have indicated, he will come relatively cheap, compared to his value 18 months ago.

We should go for him, absolutely. His transfer fee will be low, and i don't think he'll command that high a wage.

I would love Wanyama at Arsenal, but it ain't gonna happen. His stock is high and far bigger clubs are interested in him.
