Lampard's agent has said that Chelsea won't be offering him a new contract, and the reason has finally come to light.
Having witnessed the plastic flag waving brigade break their long-standing silence in the 16 minute of games in support of Di Matteo, Abramovich believes he can achieve some more isolated minutes of atmosphere inside Stamford Bridge by annoying the fans, starting with the 8th minute after Lampard's departure.

I don't think Rafa would take the Chelsea job on a full-time basis. This is a shop window exercise for him IMO.

Rafa would be in the top few in the frame for any vacancy at Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Sorry, but would Rafa's performance at Chelsea make Real interested?
He was fantastic at Liverpool, he was fantastic before...
But at the moment he seems to have lost that magic touch.

It's undair to judge him on a few months at a mess like Chelsea. Think about the things going on at chelsea. Owner, Lampard, fans and others.

Javier,
My point being is that after liverpool his star seems to be on the wain. He hadly pulled up trees at Inter. Was his time at Liverpool the highpoint for him?

Valencia and Liverpool. I think he got Rayo Vallecano promoted too? Or maybe it was Tenerife.

He has won trophies at pretty much every level of football. I can't really think of another manager that has done that.

But to win at every level....you need to have managed at every level.

Better than managing at every level and not winning anything though eh?
