A very disappointing result tonight which I would attribute to various factors, but I believe the element most pertient to our performance is the collective use of Hazard, Moses and Oscar. Granted, all of the aforementioned are exceptionally talented individuals, but they all unfortunately conform to a one-dimensional style of play which is to attack very narrowly in search of openings, which is becoming increasingly unlikely with a growing ethos to 'park the bus'. This was partially why RDM was less successful in th latter stages of his tenure and subsequently sacked, and Benitez appeared to have recognised and corrected this problem.
His continued use of Moses, rather than Oscar, along with Mata and Hazard allowed us to play with a direct style of play which employed use of the wings to stretch defences, and it worked rather well. Of course this new approach was concurrent with Torres' tempoary resurgence. In light of the abovementioned, I would argue that these three can no longer be played together, and in Moses' absence (who is now becoming increasingly important) we must play Marin instead of Oscar, and deploy Oscar in the midfield two (his prowess in distribution suits the position perfectly). It is also worth mentioning that this style of play would accomodate Ba greatly.

How? We created great chances with Mazacar and played good football. Last thing we needed was Moses just dribbling into players.
