Four -3-3 or 4-2-3-one

Neva mind the fancy way of writing the formation, was wondering what u lads think about Chelsea’s best formation. Seeing as we used the 4-2-3-1 today and knowing the fact that everyone seems to think that the 4-3-3 is a no brainer for Chelsea, I think that we actually do tend to play better nowadays with the 4-2-3-1, especially since we don’t really have flying wingers like we used to with Robben and Duff. The 4-2-3-1 was the formation that worked so well for us during the Hiddink era, esp. with those memorable champions league matches against Liverpool and Juventus where we played brilliantly. And if rumours are to be believed, then it’ll also probably suit Pastore more if he comes to Chelsea and remove our creative dependency from lampard

If we get Pastore 4-2-3-1
If we get Modric 4-3-3

I agree, someone like Johnson, Mata or Di Maria would do nicely

exactly mate. wld prefer johnson tbh as he's english n premshp proven. and cos i dn't see how madrid wld ever let go of di maria...even tho they've jst got fabio. otherwise he'd fit d bill more than ne1 out there in my opinion

If they ever get Neymat as well di Maria could be on the cheap.

My only problem with Johnson is that City are apparenlty holding uot for around 27million - we could get Mata for that kind of money
