Oh dear - Gary has got the dreaded 'Manager of the Month' award. Well done to him, of course but will the curse strike tomorrow?
On top of that a mate who occasionally goes to the games when he can is paying a visit tomorrow. He has not seen the Brewers win since the Grimsby game in 2010!
On this basis I am going for an optimistic draw 1.1.

Really hard to call this one.

Sure we all remember he corresponding fixture last year, singing "sacked in the morning" when "sacked before tea time" would have would the predictor bonus!

Who would have thought then that we would be approaching this year's game with Gary not only in charge but freshly crowned Manager of the Month!

As Otep has already pointed out, a lot of changes over the ten months with only Jacques, Calvin and possibly Jack Dyer likely to start both games.

I am sure you remember it ended 1-4 with Justin Richards rolling in a gift goal.

3-3 the year before, thanks to late equaliser from Billy Kee - for them.

0-2 in August '09 in the first home League game that I saw (on holiday for the Morecambe debut)

And 0-1 in that nervy April when the Blue Square wheels so nearly fell off.

And so it is back to September 2007 for the last / only win. John Brayford scored from the halfway line, anybody remember Andy Gooding? He go the second, Shaun Harrad the third in a 3-1 win.

So we are due a win. But I can't quite bring myself to predict one.

Otep - I think you've got the away game with the Freezer goal, also in nervy April - home game was postponed in January, re-arranged for 6th April and we got done early doors by a Danny Stevens run through the middle of our defence before Greg Pearson got sent off.

Yes, my apologies Steve. I recall that game against Torquay when Stevens scored. I can picture it now. Someone should have put a challenge in. Did they wear white that night? I wish they had today!
