He's a very average striker IMO. I'd rather have Darren Bent back.

Llorente won't happen. Negredo isn't the answer, I'd rather stick with what we've got and tough it out. Damiao would be the best choice but he's got more owners than the Co-Op which'll make any deal a protracted one - ie one that can't be done in the short Jan window.

My Spanish mate says he's quality but he's more of a direct striker and plays best with someone behind him.

I don't get how any of you would not take Negredo.
He's no Falcao or Aguero but he isn't a Torres either.

That guy scores about a goal every two games, is bigger and stronger than Defoe and technically better.
He's been playing at the top level with Sevilla for years, has CL experience and is only 27 years old.
His wage demands at around 70.000k a week would also suit us.

In this transfer window, he's the best we could get.
It would be good deal for 15m.
