Still onside.....just. Thing is, we know when it all works, we can match anyone on our day, but the defence is a serious problem. Admittedly, it was no better under Clark but we need to start suring things up or ultimately it could cost is our place at this level.

The signing of Danns is encouraging but I'm not sure we particularly need to strengthen CM, not immediately anyway. What worries me now is that Clayton will be pushed out wide to accommodate him, or SG plans on putting Danns wide, which isn't his natural position. Really need to see some end defensive blood in before the end of the month or I fear for our season.

Champus, I found with SG we could attack but not defend, some games (I dare say much like your game vs Leicester on New years day) it just all went wrong at the back. SG was a defender by trade when he played too

I always liked SG, think he lost his way at Leeds, dressing room lost a lot of respect for him, looking back, I'm not sure how much he was at fault really, still, I do hope he makes a success of himself, whether that be at Hudds, or anybody else

Personally I think he's a carthorse, can't trap a ball, isn't tall enough, isn't fat enough, isn't old enough, too tall, hasn't got a tank top, doesn't wobble when he laughs, ain't got a clue about nothing, Tweets too much, doesn't Tweet enough, oh and he's a carthorse...!

I've seen the Drearies latest attempt to belittle Bates.

Talk about clutching at straws. Some twaddle about Ofcom looking into a programme made by Yorkshire Radio. Relates to something where someone swears on a programme that Bates probably never heard or knew anything about, but why ruin a chance to prattle on about him eh..?

There really are some bitter folk out there.
