Bit of a long shot ....
I recently found my old season ticket booklet from the 1989-90 season, the booklet still has coupon number 8 intact.I was only 13 years old then but do not remember missing a game that season.
I think by then the voucher number was randomised for every game too...
Can anyone shed any light on why i would have this despite me been 99.9% certain i attended every game that season.
I know its not the biggest dilema ever posted on this board but any help would be apprecaited.

8 is a magic number.....

Dunno pal , cant think of a reason why though ,unless it was to cover any games that were abandoned maybe ?... has any body else got a booklet from around that period who could maybe confirm LIW's theory ??

Am going to have a look mate because I didn't miss any games for about 10 years with them books and see if I had any missing.
Only other thing I can think off was something to do with a reserve game

On a thread yesterday you said 'Hunter was a better player and by a fair margin in my eyes' referring to Norman being compared to Bobby Moore..!
That's really quite interesting bearing in mind in our 1989-90 season you now state you were 8 (see above).
Could you be so kind as to enlighten us as to how you came to your considered and I have no doubt scientific conclusions...?
Ah go, go on...!
ps This'll be a cracker folks. He must have seen hundreds of games between 1962 and 1976 when Norm played for Leeds. And how many he saw Bobby Moore play is anyones guess, he retired in 1978...!!
Subbuteo was it...?

As a child I studied and studied the history of football and watched hours of footage.
And I think hunter was the better player

A Trialist
Re your question 'No' but would assume if you'd been to every game it was merely an oversight.
As for my question to Liw, he's answered it, only he knows the truth.
He's a huge Leeds fan, a season ticket holder and my own personal hero...!
