Well it will have done his chances no harm. Don Rowing said on the radio there will be a decision and an announcement tomorrow. I think one possibility is to keep Flitcroft in place alongside Ronnie Branson the Academy coach - at least until the end of the season. They don't have any big names up their sleeves do they? Flitcroft has proved he has the loyalty of the players and that they are prepared to go out and give it their all - funnily enough I think that Hill might have had the same results - but I am glad he has gone so we don't have to listen to his big mouth big headed post match comments. He was not interested in the town or the fans - and that was his big downfall. Despite what he said he was incredibly thin skinned when it came to any criticism. There will be an announcement tomorrow - personally I hope Flitcroft will be asked to stay and to work alongside the Academy manager - Branson. If they keep us up this season - they deserve the job.

Before the game sky sports were reporting that we were seeking talks with Darren Moore
He has done well Flitcroft, decent team selections and seems to have galvanized the players in the last 2 home games. Our situation needs to be sorted out soon, and tbh if the best we can hope for is Big Dave then we may as well give Flicker the job for the season, as he's not done anything wrong so far.
On today, we were the better team by far all over the park, I don't know what it is about Leeds bottling it whenever they come to Oakwell but if they play as badly as that in many more games this season then they can forget about the play-offs. I'm absolutely delighted that Daggers got his first and second league goals for us, as the effort he puts in every game hadn't been rewarded up until now. Harewood was superb also, holding the ball up well and putting in more effort than Davies ever did after those 4 goals vs Birmingham. Special mention for Jimmy McNulty as well, who has been berated this season for being too lightweight and not winning enough headers, he was excellent and commanding at CB today and hopefully he can put in performances like that more often.
It feels brilliant to get our first home league win since September, not least because it's revenge for the farce at their place earlier this year, and we need to now push on and really go for it in the next few games if we are to get out of trouble. I bought my ticket for Ipswich after the game today, and a similar performance and result at Portman Road would be nice.
For now though, I'm just going to enjoy the warm glow of winning against our lovely neighbours
