Gervinho the answer to all our problems?

With the end of July now approaching, I remember vaguely that Earlier this month Wenger stated that we should expect more activity towards the end of July.

Now that the Month is four days away from ending, do you think that we will still be likely to sign a player?
Or do you think with the addition of Gervinho to a fairly unchanged team, is the answer to our failings last year? Do you think he will be the key to take us beyond the usual march collapse and to spearhead the defensive frailties on set pieces and to boost our teams mental strength and instill a winning mentality?

For me personally, i don't think nothing has changed except that one noticeable player leaving and another arriving. I don't have a short memory, It is the exact same story over the past 5 years. I think i'm gonna expect more of the same this time round as nothing has convinced me to expect otherwise.
