Conrad Logan

How did Conrad Logan get on with Bristol Rovers? I have seen him play well for Leicester and felt he was a bit unfortunate to be pushed aside. Luck seemed to desert him when he was under greatest pressure to establish himself.

I think I read somewhere that due to being put in the firing line at Rovers he's now suffering from terrible back problems.

Post traumatic stress?

He made a great impact here. He's a good leader, very vocal, decent distribution and a good shot stopper. One on one, I haven't seen anyone better.

He got caught out of position a couple of times, but he is a risk taker, so that's not surprising.

His record was good, and we definitely improved, kept a few clean sheets and he even saved two or three penalties.

We loved him, and I think most of us would like to see him as our first signing.

Best 'keeper we've had down here this season; and we've had a few!
Brave and decisive with good reactions and presence.
I'd be very happy if we signed him or got him on a season's loan.

logan is a very good keeper... needs to be a little less pro-active and a lot more re-active...... thats a sign of a good goalkeeper..

Have to say he is probably the best keeper we have had here since Nigel Martyn? His display at home v Bournemouth was nothing short of outstanding. Think they had something like 17 shots on target that night. If you lot don't want him, I'd have him here in a shot. Pardon the pun !!!

Logan just made too many mistakes at Leicester. I agree that he had a brilliant oppurtunity to stake a claim for number one as Sven didn't fancy Weale but he couldn't take that chance and I think a move would be best for all parties.

I hope you dont keep him. I saw many games last season for rovers and Logans performances to me put him as 1 of the best keepers in league 1, that I witnessed. If we can sign him on or get him on loan again for league 2, he could play a major part in our promotion back to league 1.

Its been mentioned above regarding his qualities which was spot on but just to add to that, if it wasnt for him we would of been down relegated 3 or 4 games sooner! He gave us hope.

I've been saying for a while that I never thought he was that bad. Certainly he's no worse than Ricardo, and not much worse than Weale. He was never going to be our number one.

BTW, on the subject of mistakes - apart from the one this season against West Brom - I can't actually remember any.

Has gained confidence while he has been with us (its what every player needs) so they are able perform at there best.

He's got that back, and will be one of the better keepers in League 2 if not the best.

Just hope he signs.

Weale has shot his chance of being our No1 - Ricardo has gone, if Sven doesn't sign anyone Logan might just get another chance
