I think my main problem is that I just can't drum up any confidence in the new man. If they'd replaced Sean with someone I had a bit of faith in, I would probably have forgotten by now. Or even if AM had got off to a good start. But I just can't see it working under him, Like i've said before, I strongly hope he proves me wrong and I'll be the first to admit it if he does.

Exactly Rev.
At the end of the day he's done alright out of us. He leaves with a few quid in his pocket and a much better reputation than when he arrived. A reputation that if you look at his record of something like 10 wins in 50 odd you could say he doesn't deserve.
The thing with SOD is he comes with a reputation for playing this amazing football and straight away fans embrace that. But if his win records that poor and based on what we saw its a bit of a myth. But it means fans will overrate him.

On McLeish having watched us on Saturday the football was as good if not better than under SOD. Ppl say its only Posh but they'd won 4 out of 5 and obviously had some talent.
We but together a few great flowing moves, I thought it was very encouraging.

Agreed lads. SOD did okay ini his time with us but he wasnt the owners choice and as the bankrollers they get to bring in their own man! Think we all need to get behind AM and the team, no point bickering over SOD's departure and its not gonna change anything.

Agreed Sutton. Saturday's performance had some excellent spells. Some of the best stuff I've seen this season so it bodes well and certainyl goes against the vibe of negativity that says AM is a hoofball merchant

Sutton. Ironically, it was our passing play that was much improved on Saturday .... exactly the style of play SOD was meant to instill in his teams!

And I wonder whether SOD will come in for any of our fringe players ..... Surely Derbyshire could do a job with Brizzle?

IMO It doesn't matter who is manager if we don't get the right players in this window.

I hope you're all right about improved performances. I have to admit to only seeing the highlights of saturday. But like I said, give me three positive results in a row and I'll start to get excited. Obviously this weekend is huge for AM.

I agree that we need to get behind the new manager, he need's to be given a chance. We shouldn't under value what SOD did for us he put some solid foundations in place. Our start to the season could have been much worse, given that we brought in half a squad with about three weeks to go before the season kicked off. I still believe that a top half of the table finish will be an acceptable performance for this year.
No matter who the manager is the club can only buy, or loan those player's that are made available; we are not ManU.
