Why oh why do you two still come on here and praise Walcott all the time.
Can you not see he is not a centre forward. If you think he is my friends you know nothing whatsoever about football.
Yesterday he was like a U16 footballer, he didn't have a clue against a decent defence.
Before you say he never got the service, think on.
It is up to him to create space, make runs for the midfield to find him. He did neither in fact he was making all the wrong runs. I was at the game watching him doing nothing even when the ball was at our end.
Without repeating myself again and again Theo is only ever acceptable when he is on the defenders shoulder with space to run into. This will only happen when playing against below average teams. ie Reading and Newcastle.
I would much rather have Giroud/Podolski as our centre forward at the moment.
Theo should be sold or used as a impact sub only.
Cetainly not be paid £90 k per week, hold the club to ransom and tell Wenger where to play him.
STILL BLIND

bobby7pires....דורבנות הם חרא (U2429)
Yes I have thought of that, but I cannot for the life of me so how they think he is always the answer to our problems. At the moment it's Theo who is giving Arsenal the problems. Contract/position played etc.

don't make it personal....there's no need.
however walcott annoys the heck out of me with his posing and posturing
he's an average footballer lucky to be in a position where he can hold the club to ransom!!
watching him blatantly refuse to move to the right yesterday when giroud came on was maddening!!!
you could see for a moment both him and giroud occupy the middle then giroud relented and went over to the right. when giroud realised walcott wasn't going to win a thing down the middle he dropped a little deeper to make something happen......that's a team player.
i read somewhere that giroud had more touches of the ball than walcott in the 90 which says it all really

To Garwood:
Its pretty obvious you don't rate Theo & that's fine, everyone is entitled to an opinion.
But if look at it objectively, this is Theo 1st run of games as a striker in his Arsenal career and honestly if you were to grade him, it would be 6/10 thus far.
I dont think he's the solution but i know for a fact that without him in our team this season, we have look poor & rudderless, so i honestly dont get your animosity towards the guy, its frankly absurd

Some of the comments about Walcott are pathetic. In case people have forgotten, he has only played CF like 5 times. He is not going to rip teams apart every week, he needs time to learn his roll in the team. People have given Giroud, Yao Kouassi, even Francis Jeffers more time than they have given Theo.

As i said the other day , I support afc, I don't sit there waiting for a player to fail so I can feel vindicated.

Will shave árse when Arshavin starts (U2725)
No sorry, I have given Theo 6 seasons. During that time I have not seen a lot of his footballing ability. What difference will it make changing position. Not a lot. So to say I've not given him a chance is ridiculous.
PS apologies to Powerking and Castor your entitled to your opinions, and I accept that.

It's all about opinions, just some are more extreme than others.

Really? if haven't seen a lot of his footballing ability you must be blind, he was one of our most productive players last season and yes he can inconsistent but he has also been our most productive this season.
The fact that he is our top goalscorer and has scored 2 hat tricks this season your criticism seems massively unfair
