Great performance from young left back..
Hope his QPR loan plays out well for him.. IMO he could still be as good as Rafael if he plays regullary.. If you remember the time when they both came to United, Fabio was captain of the Brazilian youth team, and was thought of as more talented than his brother..
Rafael is great this season, Fabio doesn't need to be better, only as good as him.
Fabio vs Chelsea

Denilson was once Brazillian U-21 captain but that means diddly squat.
I would be very astonished if Fabio made it at United.

I think Rafael's progress is a good indication of what we COULD get with Fabio. They are identical twins so physically and mentally are obviously very similar.
Fabio has shown during the 10/11 season he can handle big games, the big problem has always been displacing Evra and his injuries. At QPR it finally seems like he is getting games and playing really well.
I've always felt Ferguson doesn't really rotate our LB position as much as other areas, probably because Evra is an extremely experienced player and on his day one of the best LBs in the world, however we are all aware of his form in recent years. Depending on how Ferguson sees Evra's future I would like to see either Fabio given a fair amount of games for us as a LB and occasionally RB and slowly eased in as Evra's replacement or another season on loan to a PL club where he will be first choice LB. He's still fairly young and we don't need to rush things.

I think we'd all be happy if Fabio turned out as good as Phil Neville, brilliant underrated squad player who was so valuable to us.
