Strachan tobe appointed Scotland boss today

I agree Tosh. Most succesful Celtic manager since Jock Stein. Was unlucky to lose out to Smith before when the job became avaialble.

Any man that can get Caldwell and McManus to the last 16 of the ECL twice deserves a shot

Caldwell & McManus were better players back then BlueToon, especially McManus.

Aye gaz that's a fair shout but I always felt Strachan got more out of McManus than he actually had, a sign of good man management.

I hope tribal loyalties can be put aside as their unfortunately will be nuggets who will rail against this simply because he managed Celtic.

Happy with Strachan getting the gig. The wee man will bring some passion and some fire back. Something that we’ve been lacking for a long time. We’ve been way too flat in most games and we desperately need to get on the front foot more and play a pressing game with the squad we’ve got. I think the Scots supporter’s can forgive the boys anything if they play with heart and commitment.

Possibly Gaz, or maybe Strachan managed to get the best out of them.

I'm not unhappy with this appointment - at least the press confrences should be interesting.
