Does any know does does Arouna Kone start for Ivory Coast along side Drogba ? I know he been out of there squad for few years but has he been in the team of late?
Thinking of have him as top scorer at 14/1

Fancy Ghana to get a few goals in the group stages, so Asomoah Gyan looks a decent bet. They also have a young striker at Juventus, Richmond Boakye, who could be a good outside bet.
I think Cote d'Ivoire tend to go with Gervinho, Drogba and Kalou as the starting 3 up front, and they have a rather defensive group (Morocco and Tunisia)
Ikechukwa Uche will also fancy his chances of bagging a few for Nigeria against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.

Zambia striker Mayuka from Southampton might be a good bet, don't know who is in their group though. Right little speed demon he is!

Zambia are in Nigeria's group, so what I said about Uche would stand for him as well.

All the Football Manager 2013 players will be getting their money on Wilfried Bony. He is a beast on there, goals galore!
An outside E/W bet for the tournament would be Cape Verde. I wrote an article about them before the play-offs in response to a few people saying Cameroon were already at the ACON 2013. They are a young team, made up of Portugese based players. They have risen dramatically in the rankings, and players like Heldon Nhuck, Djaniny and Ryan Mendes have goals in them.
And they have the brilliantly named "Fock" in goal...
Have a tough group, they meet the hosts South Africa in the opener and also face Morocco. They are (or were) higher ranked in the FIFA ranking system than either of these two.
They could surprise a few people again.

You probably met every single one as well. Only about 500,000 locals.

I think there are 3 or 4 in the Portugal squad who were eligible for Cape Verde. Varela, Manuel Fernandes and a couple of the others.
I am pretty sure Henrik Larsson was also eligible for them, through his parents.
