Another plug for my blog, about the 20th anniversary of our famous win at Anfield in 1993.
I actually wrote this on Sunday, the anniversary, but due to a mix up it's not gone live until this evening, but I hope you enjoy reading it anyway.

LH, I was there in the new centenary stand along with a load of Well mannered Scourers. I say that because there were just me and my brother in law and we couldn't resist cheering the Wanderers on with loud unrestrained vigour. Not one of them complained and after the game, like your experience, they all wished us well and shook hands. What a great night.
I must confess my memory on the goals is no where near as clear as yours, perhaps I was just too elated to retain all the details or more likely, my senior moments are taking over on a more permanent basis.
Great article it brings back the memories as foggy as they are.

Excellent read LH, we share many memories from that night.. I've watched David Lee's performance on the Internet since, and it was the finest individual performance I ever saw...
As with you SWIE I was in the new stand and so had the pleasure of turning to my right and seeing the Bolton fans in full song!!!
John McGinlay and Andy Walker where and will be the greatest striking partnership I'll ever see in a Bolton shirt..
My McGinlay on Magaluf beach with me story is available on request!!!!

Great article LH
It was a fantastic night, beautiful even,it was a night all my dreams came true.
Growing up through the 80s were hard being a Bolton fan, every other kid at school were Liverpool fans back then.Every other year I was treated to a trip to the Happy Shop for my Birthday treat of a Bolton shirt. You could not find a Bolton shirt anywhere else back then, but I wore my shirt with pride every week in PE.
The night started as everyone knows with Johns header and to be honest I was satisfied with that, half expecting a tonking still.Time went on,Didsy tore Marsh and Jones in half,if the lad could shoot he could have score an hat trick easily.
Then it happened John broke clear on the right and crossed for Andy Walker, time froze and then it was it the onion bag.I felt emotions so great, tearful, goosepimples the lot.
Was a fantastic night to be a White, couldnt wait to buy the morning papers, watch MOTD etc.
A really beautiful night, just glad I was there proudly wearing our shirt.

I actually have kept an old VHS video player which is connected to an old tv upstairs.
Every so often, I watch the ding-dong-do tapes of the White Hot games.
