Stranraer being on the Irish sea doesnt class it as a borders club, Motherwell is closer to the border.

Also having been born in the South of Scotland when people talk about the Borders it is the are around Hawick,Kelso,Melrose Galla etc.

I suppose they don't need to know all the details because they wouldn't be involved in anything other than the fight for the league title.

infact taking aside the money that SPL clubs are supposedly giving up there is a real danger that this change may have no material change on the premier division at all. could easily see the premier division remiaing unchanged, well until rangers get there, assuming were still in scotland

biggest losers in this are the SFL clubs. no champions and gauranteed promotion to the premier league from the second tier. also extending the bottom tier to 18 teams will have many smaller current 3rd division teams wondering what the point would be. highly unlikely they would be able to challenge current 2nd division sides for promotion
