The time is almost upon us!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You wake up!
You brush your teeth!
You shower!
You wash your hair with bubble bath!
You put on your lucky skids!
You put on odd socks!
You get your leg stuck in your jeans and fall into the wardrobe!
You decide which t-shirt to wear and put it on back to front!!
You pick your trainers/shoes and the laces is are knotted!
You decide to take a woolly hat and gloves even though you wont put either on!
You're too nervous for breakfast!
You kiss the dog goodbye and pat the missus on the head!
You arrive at your mates/the pub!
You start drinking!
You drink more!
You start getting the butterflies in your stomach!
You start spotting rival colours and chuntering moderated words under your breath!
You feel guilty walking past the heavy police presence!
You can now see the turnstiles!
You can now hear the fans already in the stand!
You get to the door!
YOU'VE LEFT YOUR TICKET ON THE COFFEE TABLE!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The biggest fixture of the 2012/13 so far! Pride Park, this Saturday, at one-o-clock!
Nervous energy is running through the veins of my slighty cuddly figure as I eagerly await Saturday morning! Can the Mighty Rams uphold recent 'east-midlands-derby' form? Will Notts Forest finally click under their 5th different manager in 5 visits to Pride Park? Does logic and form even count in this fixture?
What will happen?
Surely the Red Dogs cant win, can they?
Is this what football's about? I've spent ages moaning about whats wrong with football! Moaned about the amount of money it costs to be a football fan and how little value you get for your money!!
Surely this is THE fixture for fans of both teams! If Forest win, surely Derby fans have nothing over them. Will we be talking about the referee again?
Victory is a must for both sets of fans! Surely defeat is inconceivable!
How will you celebrate if you win? How will you react to defeat?
How will you 'build-up' to this game? What will you do if you aren't attending? Sky TV? Pub? Radio? Internet?
It's a cracking weekend for me and my mates, with a friend's birthday being used as a double excuse to gather pre and post match and get absolutely smashed, I may even partake in a few light ales with 606 veterans 666, Wassa and OnTheRoof.
ENJOY

I'm tiring of reading and re-reading RFB's comments only to discern they are, in fact, the garbled nonsensical ramblings of a fool.
Note to self: skip over them in future

RFB
Coffee tables are for coffee mornings for wussies.
Beer down the pub and falling over outside is much more meaningful than some strip of wood on 4 legs tripping you up when you arrive home late at night after a belly full down at said pub.
And if your Mrs is having coffee mornings with the girls then ... get rid! or send her out to work

If it is called off because of the weather it will mean we have time to get Bryson back to full fitness and Forest have time to appoint at least two new managers.
