Manchester United's share price seems to have risen a fair bit over the past few days. I have been tracking it for a few months and it was as low as 12.25 in Ocotber but it has risen to 15.29 today. Anyway here is a link if anyone is interested:

While its a good sign and raises the clubs' value, the club or its management don't actually gain anything from second hand trading (the stock market) with respect to cash, so its not like they can pay off any more of the debt.
In fact, all it does in the short term is make us more credit worthy to banks and the like, not always a good thing.
Sorry for the pessimism.
