I'm fed up with fans who think he is some kind of victim. There is money there. Newspapers report numbers like 70mill quotes of wenger saying he will spend big if there is someone special or exceptional. The board say there is money. It's obvious the problem is Wenger thinks our team are good enough. And they are clearly not but it's Wenger choice to not buy. I'm fed up with the naive supporters saying wenger has no money to spend. Wenger is not ruthless with who is not good enough/too stubborn to admit some players will not turn out like he has hoped.

I hate to break it to you but your radical ideas about our spending policy have already occurred to others.

Life to some people is either black or white!

I was merely pointing out the tiresome lack of originality to your argument.
I agree there is money; how much there is however, none of us can know, despite the tabloid articles you seem to take as fact.
It is easy to waste money in these times. Just take a look at Liverpool last season, but if anyone can spend it carefully, I believe he can.
I will reserve my final judgement of Arsene Wenger until February and will base it upon how he spends it and when he spends it. Rather than jump to conclusions before the fact using rather dubious sources as the basis of my reasoning.
Articles like this are about as fruitful as spending £20m on Stewart Downing.

Sir Digby pessimistic drivel... Well I agree its not exactly optimistic, sorry for trying to use my brain unlike you who just accepts what happens happens and puts smiley faces on articles where people have an opinion.

"sorry for trying to use my brain"

Nobody has a problem with you TRYING to use it.
It's your failure to even find the 'on' button that has us perturbed.

Look I was being harsh when I said Sir Digby wasn't using his brain, i honestly really want to stay optimistic, but just feel so let down by wenger. The most frustrating thing is he thinks we are good enough with players we have and it's so obvious we are not. I will try and look for more positives honestly! It's just difficult when I don't see his ambition anymore. Like I still think with a couple of signings we would look great.
