Whytes warchest gone mising

When the great whyte knight swooped to power in Govan all we heard from his tabloid puppets especially Mr Traynor was that a 15 million warchest was going to be made available to McCoist to make Rangers a force.

Now with Rangers spending a total of around 2.5 million it is reported today that Rangers are having to sell before he can buy Goodwillie and Verhock for a fee of 4 million.

This leaves me with 2 questions

1. Has McCoist spent most of the cash on the improved contracts of key players such as Davies and McGregor?

or

2. Was the 15 million warchest a smoke screen for Whyte to believe Rangers would make the CL group stages which would generate 15 million and use that money instead of his own to develop the team. But as Rangers face a major fight to make the group stages no more money will be made available?

If i was a bear id be a little worried about their great whyte knight

I think a lot will depend on the 2nd leg for Rangers and McCoist.

If they go out of europe to Malmo then that 'warchest' will be snapped shut!

ps, think about how many players we have on 'improved contracts' like Rangers have done for Whittaker, Davis and McGregor.

We won't be able to sustain this without a long run in the europa league or getting into the champions league.

Why should we be worried!

Anyone who beleived 15m is a moron!

I rather my team lives within it's means than end up in the mess we were in again. We will sign players, verhoek, we havent got a chance in hell(dutch player of the year)

And plus I do not beleive a word the red tops spread especially what the record says!

Venus

why should you be worried? your team is having to sell players before you can buy already and all you have spent is 2.5 million.

Your squad is already very limited in numbers just look at your bench at the Hearts match.

and to your comment as to morons and believing, Mr Whyte himself came out and said he was going to give 25 million to be spent over the next five years however he said he would make extra funds available for allys first season as the squad was low in numbers.

"Why should we be worried!

so if people are morons, maybe you can elabortate on which statements can be relied on as being true when your chairman speaks. should we decide or just accept everything he says as being nonsense or run the risk of you calling us morons?

up to now you will struggle to disagree that he has been spouting complete and utter scheidt...the bears in the main believed it all..

the smarter ones knew to reserve judgement based on their departing director statements and his previous 7 out of 9 failed companies.

now , you suggest people are morons for believing what this charlatan tells you and your fellow fans..

maybe you need to look closer to home to see the real moron here?

after years of back pocket abuse from murray, you guys have become like sponges when your chariman speaks, always soaking it up with no quesitons.

somethings never change; new chairman, more moonbeams...
