It'd not be Mourinho

to be the next Chelsea's manager IMO. Many Chelsea fans are listing him as a highly likely candidate. But There's no solid ground, just like the Pep story. Mou is not coming back just because their fans love him or he succeeded here. While, subjectively:

1. Roman wants eye-catching football along with successes, he didn't think Mou would bring it.
2. Mou is a conqueror-like manager with arrogance. He'd more likely want to achieve new things in the new grounds, why is he motivated to come back to Chelsea, where he already succeeded, where the sought-after CL was won already, and where he was (shamefully) fired by the same board.

Also I don't think money offer could be a big drive for him again, while some other clubs could afford it.

With those arguments, I see his most likely destinations are City, PSG, as well as Man Utd, and Ac Milan, of course depending on if the boards there want him, and how well their current managers doing.

Which reasons make you think otherwise?

I think he'll end up at PSG with the blueprint of winning the CL in 2 years he'll maybe go to 1 or 2 more clubs then its Portugal for him and a shot at the WC or Euros

he has years left in him to manage, so the PSV shout is a good one. loads of money and some good players in aleague where he cant really fail. few more trophies then take over at City or Utd.

I agree, not only that, he wants full control and that is something Roman just can not deliver to any manager.

Still can't see past Chelsea.

He has said he has unfinished business at Chelsea, also that he would like to return.

I also believe he would like to take over at a club where he can manage long term and build a legacy, so again Chelsea would be the best option, as he has already got a connection withthe fans, the owner and he and his family enjoyed their time in London.

Regarding the Abromovich giving time and control, that may very well change with our next generation we are building, so the summer would be a big moment for us to see the path we take.

He had won all the dometsic trophies in the 3 best leagues in the world, only thing left for him to do before international management is to manage somewhere long term and build a legacy with a club.

I would love him to come back but i am not sure how likely it is. If we do get him he might stop chelsea selling lampard and cole it would be worth him coming back just for that and he hasnt won the CL with us when he built one of the most formidable teams in PL history definatly unfiniahed business

I actually think the opposite, if he does come back he will get rid of Lampard and Cole, probably even look to replace Terry dropping him to the bench. Install a new spine, and turn the team into that hungry machine we had before, but this time with the good football he produced in the first year, as well he will be here long term, so no instant success required.
