Former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer has questioned Loic Remy's decision to sign for QPR instead of the Magpies.
The forward, 26, joined the Premier League's bottom side from Marseille on Wednesday, three days after a deal was agreed with 16th-placed Newcastle.
"I am surprised to see Remy go to QPR instead of Newcastle," said Shearer. "I would have a good guess financial things had a part to play. While I hope QPR get out of it, I find it hard to say he chose them over Newcastle."

Is this the same guy that moved from Southampton to Blackburn for money, and then moved on to Newcastle for money. Both times stating that he would sign for Manchester United (ok a bit of sway on the second transfer but you get my drift)
moving for money

If QPR remarkably survive then they will go into next season in a stronger position than Newcastle, in my opinion who require investment to get back to they were last season.
Yes, he has went for the money, but so did Gaston Ramirez and no one has questioned him to the same extent?

Come on shut up, most players transfer for the money, and I don't think there are double standards by shearer...he moved to his hometown club and was loyal to them for many years
