I mean these facts are absolutely mindbowing.
All at the tender age of 23. Wow!
His International record is on a par with some of the greats. If he can stay fit, and work on that first touch, he will surely go onto smashing most records!
Seriously! Chicho Chicho!

and only cost 6 mil! what a steal. and nobody saw that coming! saying that abramovich and the sheik would rather spend 30+ million just to get stuff in the papers publicising themselves and their squads of individuals!

That header V Stoke away is one of the best headed goals I have seen.

i agree kash! where have u ever seen such skill talent and damn right ability in another player to score such a fantastic goal?

Rival fans are just jealous when they keep saying he can only score tap ins. Well he gets into good positions to score those tap ins, and makes very good runs, knows where the goal is and rarely misses a chance when clear on goal. He's only 23 and I'm sure he'll add more to his game but as long as he keeps scoring who cares.

That's true - it inflates his figures - but the impressive thing is he also has a decent record scoring against bigger teams, cf. his performance at the World Cup.

I like Hernandez, but his international record doesn't mean much when you look at the teams that Mexico play on a regular basis. The Gold Cup? Qualifying for the world cup etc. He can only score against who he plays against, granted. That said, a very, very good played and finisher at a bargain price.

Obviously some of the teams arent of the highest quality. However, lets not forget that he has a very good record against bigger international teams and has scored against Spain, Argentina, France and Holland in the last 14 months.

His dive against Newcastle is still the main highlight of the year!
