Shocked by that, I can see them going down after that, to be replaced straight away (Obviously premeditated) by an unknown Argie who's not even managed a team yet (not to my knowledge anyway) is utter madness!!

Just read that he took espanol to the bottom of primera liga
"Mauricio is a well-respected coach of substantial quality who has gained a reputation as an astute tactician and excellent man manager. I have every confidence that he will inspire our talented squad of players to perform at the highest possible level."
Not bad for a manager who took them to the bottom of La Liga...and got sacked as a result

Nige's win % is incredible as well, that other guy's is miles away.
It is just crazy, someone is going to benefit by getting a very good manager out of it when he gets back from his holiday.
I've always liked Southampton (mainly 'cos of the Sanderson shirts) and can't help feel that they've just committed Premiership suicide.

Shockingly poor judgement by Soton!
I hope they go down after that.

I looked at the stats on the bbc article. He's not really to be judged on 22 games in the Prem- it is totally different to the Chmpshp or L1. His goals per game ratio is great for newly promoted club. Saints fans must be livid.
I'd still bite yer arm off if Glenn Hoddle ever decided to manage in England again.
Hmmmm........
