why are so many peoples only defence to say someone else is guilty of the same thing

Because the issue of cheating in football is not a single-case problem, it's a wide spread disease. The sooner people stop targeting certain players and pardoning others that are at least as guilty then the problem will persist. Every team has its cheats, not all of them have the balls to admit to it.

Personally i think he is a disgrace on field and shows no remorse for it, but i have a tiny shred of respect for him for admitting to it, unlike the likes of Bale whose complete denial of his blatant cheating is enabled by the british media absolving him of all wrongdoing.

Rooney is finished and its a shame he never fulfilled his potential....he may score a few goals here and there but he has been worked out.

What the silly United fans don't realise is SAF in advance knew that Suarez would be joining Liverpool so he told his lackeys (that being the press we control according to Suarez) to start blackening Suarez reputation before the deal was even agreed.

So anything negative said about Suarez is still all SAF's fault and nothing to do with Suarez at all.
