Our top scorer has signed, finally the club has retained a key player. Peeps should be relieved and happy. Hopefully we can build on this now and add a few more additions. In our world, no he doesn't deserve 100k but what British player does?. Would some peeps of been happy if he'd of joined Chelsea or l'pool on a free?!. He's obviously had a look at what other clubs are paying there players and wants to be up there so can you blame him!.
He's shown some loyalty, he loves the club and that's what we want as fans. He could of easily of got an even bigger deal with a rival club, I believe today is a massive turning point for us. If he flops then so what, we get him off the wage bill and hopefully a big transfer fee, I see this as win win for afc. Lets get behind Theo and the team for once.
Very happy day

Theo signing shows we are moving in the right direction regardless of how much we are paying him, now we need to make a further 2 additions.

I wouldn't say it means we are heading in the right direction. If anything it has just stopped the rot. It will be pointless if we don't strengthen before the window closes.

Just happy its finally sorted, although by recent standards the deal was wrapped up pretty quickly.
Yes he's overpaid but it does also make a much needed, albeit long overdue statement that we can hold on to our top players

Excellent article, I fully agree, although when compared to others English players I really don't think £100k per week is too much. Rooney is on £250k per week ffs.
