I think people wrongly bash Lawro for his predictions. It's a thankless task and 9/10 they're in line with the bookies odds

Allen is not likely to assist much when the majority of passes are sideways or behind. Depends on the make up of your team to how players fit in to place as the difference between Gareth Barry in a City shirt against an England shirt shows. While Barry can simply win the ball and then give it to a better player I don't think Allen is afforded that luxury,especially with Gerrard playing so much deeper these days.
In a Chelsea,Utd or City shirt I think Allen would look a much better player

Allen is just off form temporarily
