Bottled it in front of by far the biggest crowd Derby have seen for ages!

spursbeefcak - if you'd read all the comments from the Sheep over the last couple of weeks about how he would "rip us apart" you'd understand our shock at just how ineffective he was in the game.
This game was all about the midfield. Derby played 5 (very interesting defensive move to have 1 striker at home) but we owned it bar 15-20 minutes of the game.
He probably will go on to be a good player but today he did not look like the wonderkid we had been told he was.

At least he's our player eh, unlike your team of loans and big time Charlie's. Maybe next year.

How many loan players do we have Josh? 3 was it?

Josh - quality response. Not like that's an original responses from a Derby fan. Perhaps next time you won't over estimate the quality of your players.

Josh:
It's lose - lose for you I'm afraid Joshyboy. He'll either continue to stink the place out or put in a few good performances; after which you won't see him for dust.

He seemed lost today. Wouldn't mind nicking that Hendricks fellow though. He sounded decent.

I think Hughes was carrying an injury and I don't think he would have played today if the opposition had been different. Taken off at HT against Brighton after a knee in the back.
I think the occasion also got to some of our younger players and the back four looked vulnerable & this spread to the rest of the team. I thought Keogh was the final man who kept things together in the last fifteen. I couldn't help thinking how we needed a Shaun Barker to organise things.

He's 17, I'd forgive him the odd bad game. To be honest I haven't seen much of him, he seems to float around in midfield getting involved when he feels like it from the very few games I've seen.
