If we had Drogba, Anelka, Crespo or Hasselbaink playing up front for us right now, I would not really be that much bothered. But seeing us his career at Chelsea got cut short because of a £50mill bag of poo we bought, I am very dissapointed with the club there.

Way more opportunites? 45 Min v Blacburn, and 30 min v WBA this season. I can not remember any other time we played him up front.
Kalou did play as a winger before in his career as well, and not even that, he had Drogba at his prime with Anelka and a bit of Sheva to try and move of the spot for that 1 cf role, so it is not really surprising to see Kalou to stay quiet and work hard on the pitch, as that was all he was going to get with the standard of players in fron of him.
Sturrdige did the work in the cup runs, did his time on loan and on the wing up until January, yet we still choose to stick with someone useless up front. If Kalou was in Sturridge's position in January 2012, I'm pretty sure he would be feeling depressed and disillusioned about his future at the club.

Gazza.......
Kalou forged a mediocre career...
Sturridge, rightly or wrongly wants more and frankly he has miles more talent than Kalou, so in my book rightly

He will easily outscore Torres like he did the last 2 years. This club is being run by a bunch of people who have no clue about how to run a club. Selling a 23 year old who since 2008 has scored a goal every 175 minutes he has been on the field. While keeping Torres as our only striker for the Europa League so he can loose it for us like he did CWC.
The whole situation is a joke really, until we buy a none cup tied striker we are still worse off.
