I'm absolutely shocked this guy has gone to Newcastle. We are pretty short in numbers at the back and this guy has a serious amount of potential.
I have seen him many times and he is an extremely strong and mature player for someone so young. Yes he plays in defense but he has all the attributes to potentially play as a dm.
Why have we not attempted to get him and for £6.75M he is an absolute steal.

Also had snooker on a lot of the day...
Tomorrow, if I don't go down the pub, is another busy day. Peterhead v Rangers will probably miss out. But as well as PL games and ACON, we have Inter v Roma and both Madrid teams playing. Also a Bundesliga game, which will be neglected, and the American Football conference championship games. And the snooker.

To be honest we don't need another 6 ft defender. We need a 6ft 4 beast defender. Not in the mertersaker mold of a friendly giant.
