Honestly, my point was Mata wasn't anywhere near as influential as he was this year.
Either way, stats shouldn't be means for judgement.

Well Dubbed he hasn't even reached his peak yet so obviously he will get better every year. Cazorla right now is as good as he gets.

Cazorla is two footed, that is a huge plus over Mata, but so far (and it is early days I admit) Mata produces more goals and more creativity than Cazorla and on a more consistent basis and in big games.

Mata is top top quality world class player. A player us gooners are still ruing we missed out on him.
But then so is Cazorla as well imo.
At the end of the day I think it's debatable as to which one is better.
People saying Mata' 'lightyears'/'leagues' ahead, irritate me, as that's clearly false.
