Inner City Support

A bit harsh,you forget that we have one of the if not THE biggest most world renown rugby league club. That club also has the official best player on earth. Leeds is a Rugby city almost as much as it is a football one.

Also can you give supporting references/evidence to back your claim that we rely on fans outside Leeds eg Surveys, receipts, etc? If not where do you get your opinion from?

I live relatively local (15 miles) and we took about 30 lads from the village to a Champions League game in Rome, whereas we struggle to fill a car now. I walk through the bus terminus to the ground and am staggered by the number of coaches/minibuses displaying plaques in the rear window from all over the country. Does the city deserve a Premiership football club? With the level of support, clearly not. Some on here and elsewhere will claim that they are boycotting because of how the club has been run, not paying top dollar to watch poor football etc. On the face of it, as fans we have suffered more than fans of most clubs, however, it appears we have more than our share of fair weather fans. Watch them come out of the woodwork, if, by some major miracle, we end up in a play off final at Wembley.
