Lovely that, not seen it before - made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Do the Sheep have something similiar?
btw that Gary Crosby goal against Man City - classic. I was there at that game, standing in the Bridgford End. We hadn't got a clue what had gone on at the time.

I travel all over the world for work and proudly wear my Forest badge where ever I go. One thing that always happens no matter where I go (US, China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Russia, Italy......) I will always meet local people who know about Forest and want to talk about the games they have seen.
I have said to my wife for years that if Forest has a strong marketing manager we could be a much richer club as the brand recognition is there in a way that probably less than 20 teams have around the world.
Of course the link to Sherwood Forest that exists in many peoples minds clearly helps.

You're absolutly right Fleet. I remember walking down a street in Mexico wearing my Forest shirt when a shopkeeper called out "Hey Stewot Peece I have some bargains for you" and also on the same day as we were waiting to board a ferry some Canadian guy asked if my shirt was that of the team that had the maverick boss featured in The Damned United film. When I said yes he spent the next 20 minutes asking questions about Nottingham in general and of course as he put it "the soccer team"
Plenty of branding potential worldwide for our beloved reds.

Essex, when I was younger I lived in Italy for a year and had a season ticket for Juve. Used to wear my Forest shirt to the matches. Lots of the Juve fans have a soft spot for Nottingham, even if it really should for be for the team on the other side of the Trent, and the Garibaldi always wins you friends in Italy.
I'm hoping our new owners realise its not just the Middle East where we can grow revenues.

I used to work all over the UK and every time I was in a pub in my Forest top someone would have a good word for us. A mate of mine (Baggies fan so I know he wasn.t talking BS) was in a back street pub in Vietnam and the Vietnamise owner was a Forest fan and even had a Forest scarf hanging behind the bar.
