Will Zaha leave during this transfer window? YES or NO
Will Zaha go in January?

If Simon Jordon/ Ron Noades was in charge Zaha would have gone. Yes £12m is good for any Championship club but the owners said £20m (or an offer that was too good to turn down) and I think it's more on principle than actual value.
Also where is he going to fit in with the Man Utd team? What's the point in leaving now to go sit on the bench? It's better for everyone that he continues playing first team football. His value isn't going to drop between now and the summer so therefore I don't think he will go

20 million would get much better players. Zaha isn't worth 5million, let alone 12. By everyone, I mean that CP know that is already more than he is worth and United fans will think that for someone who is english with 'talent' it is worth a gamble. If United pay 20 million for this guy then we have been truely ripped off. He won't be anything other than another A.Young.

Everyone has their own opinion on a players value, example Rooney was well over valued at £25.6 million, as was C Ronaldo's £80 million price tag.
If Ferguson wants him that much he'll pay the price, or go else where to spend his £20m.

There is a chance that Zaha could be the next Walcott (Arsenal paid £12m) or Ronaldo (Man Utd paid £12m)
If he's going to go in January then it will be for more. Depends how much Fergie wants him. If he doesn't go in January and we don't get promoted then I probably would accept £12-15m for him and then give Olly the chance to buy more players. It's too late in the window now to replace him so it's not worth settling.
I know there's talk of them loaning him back but how often is that talked about and how often does it actually happen?

I'm just looking to get some sort of balance on this.
If Wilf was worth 20 mil genuinely, wouldn't there be a bidding war going on? Not just with Utd and Arsenal (if indeed Arsenal were in-Wenger denies) but surely the bigger teams of europe?
Wouldn't Palace be enjoying a higher position in the league right now if we had a player of world class ability?
Wouldn't a world class player have helped us to more than around a third of our points tally over the last 10/11 games?
He's good yes and he makes me laugh when he skins players and he can be marvellous but there is so much more that he needs to do to be worth 20 mil IMO.
This is why he needs to stay at Palace and develop for maybe even a couple of more seasons yet.
Another point is- if Utd/Arsenal had shown no interest whatsoever during this window but let's say Swansea or WBA had of done, would we be talking more like 8-10 mil instead?
It's an immotive subject and all a bit clouded for me.

Bilko, you're not sorry bud, you're just taking up the mantle from Dutchie (send him my love..............through gritted teeth )
'Hastings'...................With all due respect bud, Wilf will rot at Palace should he stay past this season. He absolutely needs to step up at this point in his career imo. He'll learn little by staying and will ultimately become bored/stale/frustrated. All youngsters need a constant challenge and a goal..............from what i remember!

Turns out I was wrong
I think it's a fair deal. Man Utd pay £10m now with the potential for it to rise to £20m based on these "add-ons". Therefore I assume if he's worth £20m then we get that and Utd get a top class player
But putting my Red n Blue glasses back on. Last week we had Zaha. Now we have Zaha plus £10m!

It's a great bit of business and I think we come out of it a lot better than United.
I can't see him tearing up the Champions League to be honest but I can see him going out on loan when they realise that he is not the next Ronaldo.
Let's hope that Ollie can bring in a few now to take us to the next level.
Onwards and upwards
