After my article on Arteta below, I'm amazed to find that some on here think he's average, or even, and I quote, "the poorest signing made over the last ten years. It ranks with Gervinho".
So here's a quick poll to find out who thinks what.
5 stars if you think he's been a good signing
3 stars if you think he's been an average signing
1 star if you think he's been a poor signing

But not enough of Koscielny?

How long before you have enough of Gervinho? After he misses another open goal from 3 inches?

Ok sometimes koscielny will make a silly mistake, other than that he is top class defensively, positioning, tackling. Vermaelen lacks any defensive ability, seems to have gone downhill since being named captain

...and Gervinho?

Gervinho is a special, special player, I always will have faith in him.

Vermaelen is better than Koscielny.

HMNIG your faith is touching.
If he becomes a special player I will eat my words and salute you, but I'm not holding my breath.

Only 65% so far think Arteta has been a good signing.
Just shows there's no such thing as consensus on this board

Arteta has without doubt been a good signing. While our poor showings in the City and Chelsea games cannot be solely attributed to Arteta's absence, it undoubtedly had an effect, particularly at the start of these games, his steadying influence in these big games is so important. He brings balance to our midfield.
