Julio Baptista is easily the worst signing Wenger ever made. How Real Madrid signed him is beyond me. The guy couldn't control a football and looked like a lumbering oaf whenever he played. Added nothing to attack. Awful footballer
Yet the general consensus on here is that he was a good player/misunderstood/played out of position. Why?! Is it because he was brazalian or because he played for Real Madrid? Gervinho is twice the player Bapitisa is!

anyone who followed his career would know that he tore la liga up when he was at seville. he scored 50 goals in two seasons as a rampaging attacking midfielder.
unfortunately for him he then signed for madrid when he was heavily linked with us and his career went downhill from their.
