If true - could we reject this offer?

Hooper for £10m to Spurs?

http://www.givemefootball.com/325709-tottenham-eye-10m-celtic-star-they-rejected-11-years-ago?

"Tottenham Hotspur are considering a £10m move for Celtic striker Gary Hooper, according to The Metro.

The hotshot Bhoys forward is yet to sign a new contract at Celtic Park, and the report claims Tottenham are one of many Premier League clubs interested in bringing him south of the border.

Norwich have already had a £5m bid rejected for Hooper - Celtic are thought to want at least double that fee - while Liverpool and Queens Park Rangers have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

But the report claims Andre Villas-Boas has dispatched scouts to watch Hooper - a player Tottenham rejected as a 14-year-old schoolboy back in 2002."

Now I dont want Gary to go in the slightest but £10m is a hell of a chunk of cash for a player we bought for a 1/4 of the price a few years back...

Wonder if Jordan Rhodes is still happy at Blackburn...

------
While on the face of it Russell would be a fine player - I see him as a replacement for Stokes.

For Hooper I would hope that we would go spend a bit of cash on a more experienced player...

We'll give you Adebayor

I see Russell as a Stokes type player, will score a fair few in the league but won't be started in Europe etc.

If we were to replace Hooper I'd rather it was with the likes of Austin

He's just tired of all that transfer speculation on the Gers page, that's all.
