Best option to manage the team next season.

Who do you think would be the best man to manage the team next season, as much as I would love to see Mourinho back at the bridge we all know Mr Abramovic prefers the expansive attacking football, I think it is still too early for Zola or Poyet and I dont see us getting either Jurgen Klopp or Joachim Loew. I personally would like to see Frank Rijkaard given a chance, afterall he started the attacking brand of football Guardiola eventually perfected. I think he would be a success at Chelsea.

This was his 1st team at Barcelona;

------------------------------------Valdes--------------------------------
Alves-----------Marquez-----------------Puyol---------------Abidal
------------------------------Yaya Toure---------------------------
---------------Xavi------------------------------Iniesta----------------
--Messi----------------------Eto------------------------Ronaldinho

I actually think that 4-3-3 formation would suit the players we have;.

-------------------------------------Cech--------------------------------------
Az/Wallace---Ivanovic/Luiz--------------Terry/Cahill-------------Cole
--------------------------------Chalobah/Luiz------------------------
--------------DeBruyne--------------------------Oscar-----------------
---Mata---------------------Lukaku/Ba-------------------------Hazard

So the question is who would you like to see manage the team next season and why.

well that was my mistake Cruyff started it Rijkaard further developed it with great success and Guardiola perfected it.

Rijkaard

please no, he built a Barca side around the brilliance of Ronaldinho,he was exposed massively for the 1 dimensional manager that he really is in his last season at Barca and in every job since

we won't see Jose back. not going to be popular for saying this but imo we'd be best off keeping on Rafa permanently

RAFA?? Well thanks but NO thanks. I see Rafa as similar to Mourinho and Capello in the sense that they give their players specific instructions as to what they expect from them during a match making the players too rigid which is not what Abramovic seeks, whereas Pep/Wenger/Klopp give their players more freedom to express themselves on the pitch with license to interchange positions during a game.

Laudrup or David Moyes, my preference? hmm not sure who i'd wish this job on

Im not a fan of golom Moyes
He gets his teams all pumped up for the big matches then fails to motivate for the smaller teams and there are far too many home defeats by the likes of wigan on his cv for my liking.Doubt very much he has the personality to bring in ,motivate and keep the big names happy

I think Moyes will take over from Fergie and do well.

Not sure Moyes would even be the man for Chelsea, not sure who is though

from all the stories i've heard about Ferguson seeking his successor i think Pep is most likely as it would make sense for Ferguson to want three more years and Pep to find work in that time. Apparently Gill and Ferguson had lunch with him, in NY, during the summer

so that means we would have to take pick from the managers Utd discarded as the successor

Which up and coming manager would want to go to Chelsea? Everyone knows RA insists on certain players playing, buys players on a whim, the senior management is riddled with 'nodding heads' vying for the ear of RA. Who would want to go there? Then you also have the prospect of Mourinho texting/calling players to undermine any manager (so that they can keep the door open for him).

Rafa's only doing the job to put himself in the market for jobs like Madrid. The best you'll get is Mourinho, but that will only last for 3 years (and now Chelsea aren't the ones with deepest pockets in the EPL).
