Called up to the Scotland U-21 squad.
Well done JR, fully deserved too.
I expect that when Goodie moves on JR will get to play in his more natural position and score more goals.
It won't be long before all the usual suspects are sniffing around another one of our players.
Johnny Russell

I think this player is immense. For a small guy he is fantastic in the air. With what I have seen of Mackay-Steven so far, I think he will have many chances to add to his goal scoring record. To score, I think, nine goals in the part of the season when he played was some return.
Goes to show what the value is of loaning out a player to a first division club. First Goodie then Russell. Is Hilson next?

I think Hilson went out to Forfar already -
We need to keep loaning our players to Raith, it seems to work wonders!

Always good to see a united man getting a call up for scotland squad especially a home grown player. Surely we're going to need another striker if goodie goes, does anybody have any ideas?

The thing I like about the U-21 is that it's still Scotland, unlkike the full national team were half of them have only ever been to Scotland to play for them!

I take an interest in any national team that has some of Uniteds players in the squad. I had forgotten how it felt until Conway and Goodie got called up, now here is hoping Russell can be another one.

Russell looks promising hopefully neither my team or celtic try and sign him!
