Motivation: Jealousy? Or could he possibly believe what he said?

I don't think you can nail a goalkeeper in that way," Keys said.
...................................................

Like presenters on talksport do after pretty much every United game then

Keys is lucky to be in his position, he's a nothing presenter which has been proven by the fact that Geoff Steling and Ed Chamberlin have stepped in and the quality of the broadcasting hasn't suffered, if anything it's improved.

Also, for someone who has spent half his life around professional footballers and watching games from all over the world, his lack of football knowledge is criminal, when ever he makes a point about the game Andy Grays response tends to be along the lines of "Er...well...no not really" and then goes onto to explain why Keys in wrong.

Jealousy from Keys here.

The question I would ask in response to keys would be, is it really relevant that he is too close to the club?

He is not a head of state, a judge. He is a football pundit, the only thing that he can do at worst is not be impartial. Is that really worth even talking about.nesoecially on talksport where 95% of presenters have an agenda, usually to get listeners riled up anyway.

Intact that's probably what he has done here.
