A sad thing to happen. They made some good games. Especially sad as Saints Row has now gone to Koch Media, responsible for such classics as Dead Island.

Metro has also been sold to Koch Media and South Park was bought by Ubisoft, so they'll be fine. Nearly all the games/studios have been bought to repay any debts they held.

THQ's corpse has been picked fairly clean. Darksiders and the guys who made it Vigil have been overlooked so far which means they're the highest profile "commodities" which currently look like fading into non-existence.
