After the news of Ian Evatt's injury and the collapse of his move to Liverpool it would seem Ian Ayre and co. haven't wasted a second in approaching their 'Plan B' target
Voetbal Internationaal - the Dutch TV football programme and magazine (the first to break the news regarding Suarez and Assaidi) have stated that an LFC delegation arrived around lunchtime at the PSV Eindhoven training ground. It is believed that Liverpool have been scouting 37 times capped international Wilfred Bouma since the start of the season. Bouma has played 21 games for PSV this season and at 34, Rodgers and his team see him as adding experience to the defence and the fact he can play at both centre half and cover left back kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
Voetbal Internationaal go on to say that the ex Aston-Villa man would cost around £750,000 and currently earns £600,000 a year at PSV.............surely it's 'do-able'
