Does this mean they have gave up on Hooper? Also it might mean that Spurs are the only team interested which puts a bidding war out the equation..

Lenny seems very confident that Hooper will not be leaving during this window. Norwich are desperate for someone now so I guess they've moved on from Hooper now.

If Hooper keeps banging in the goals there will be plenty of clubs after him in the summer. He will have less time left on his contract which lowers his value but that might be offset by a bidding war if a few clubs are after him.

Neil is a team-builder and think he's convinced Hooper that if he must leave to do so in the summer.

Depart as a Champ with great CL experience.

One blistering performance against the Old Lady could bump up his value, enough to cover the 'last year of his contract' discount.
